Located in the center of the Coonabarahan on the Castlereagh River in New South Wales is the small town of Binnaway. The population of the town is only 495 people. The town is also part of the Warrumbungle Shire Council.

One of the many amenities the town offers is the Binnaway Racecourse. It is a country track with a warm and friendly environment that every race goer enjoys. The race course is under the management of the Binnaway Jockey Club and hosts six race meeting events every year.
