Holbrook is located about 356 kilometers North East of Melbourne and 491 kilometers South West of Sydney on the Hume Highway in the Greater Hume Shire Council. It was previously called 'Ten Mile Creek' before it was recognised as Holbrook. The most recent population count is 1,336.
