Lay System

Lay @ Betfair SP for minimum $30 liability. Heaps of turnover, plenty of profit.

Just signed up to this system and keen to have a go of it. I've got a question though, with the higher priced runners there wouldn't be enough liquidity in Betfair to lay some of them.

System reults are based on BetfairSP .

Will there be unmatched SP bets if the money isn't there?

"In theory, there could be unmatched SP bets. We don’t actually guarantee a match. But this would only happen if the price is 1.01 or 1000 – the two extremes of our SP. If 1.01 were the final SP, then some backers might be unmatched. If 1000 were the final SP, then some layers will be unmatched. However, we expect this to be very rare."

The published pot for this system does the developer a serious disservice. Based on the last 100 lays, someone backing all these selections would lose 32 cents in each wagered dollar giving the layer a profit of 32% pot. Congratulations on a masterpiece.

I believe the POT on a lay system would be calculated based on the lay betters liability. Therefore in this case the turnover would be 13.34 X that of a "back" better. So 1.11 percent POT would be a loss of 14.8 percent to a backer
