System of the Week - 16/12

It's been a couple of weeks since the last update so this version of System of the Week covers back to the start of December.

Highest earner during this period is a new system from Tylendale called Ain't That Sweet.  This is a longshot system which has seen 4 winners paying more than $30 this month.  Strike rate is around 10% and the return per $1 bet for this month has been $150 so far.  Another Tylendale longshot system Rubifen One Hundred has also been on fire with a return of $105 for the same period.

Another well performing Tylendale system is Have a Go On This.  With 68% profit on turnover since creation Have a Go On This has snared its last 3 winners with Tully Costa at Werribee on Sunday ($12), Royal Consort at Gold Coast on Saturday ($9) and Chiquada at the Valley on Friday night ($19).  Not a bad weekend for Have A Go On This followers…

If longshot backing is not your thing then Formulator has presented a new system called Short 'n' Sweet.  With 6 winners from 14 selections so far Short 'n' Sweet has the historical strike rate of an incredible 50%.  Average dividend is $2.80 so this looks like it may prove a solid system for favourite backers and is our System of the Week (December so far)….

System of the Week - 28/10

It was a tough week for some of our most popular systems.  Time Factors and Mega Pot both struggled after a good run over recent weeks.  The thing to remember is that both these systems have average dividends of around $11 so a run of outs from time to time is expected.  This has opened the door for some new contenders to fight it out for System of the Week honors.

Tylendale's long shot system So Hot I Have to Share picked four winners for the week out over $20 but took 60 selections to find them. Regardless, the return was a healthy $28.

One of Formulator's newer systems Pace Ace has been hovering around the break even mark since its creation a month ago but Pace Ace broke through this week with profits of $28 per $1 invested.  From 12 runners Pace Ace found 4 winners including Zephyron at Rosehill on Saturday that paid $31.  With a healthy strike rate of 25% Pace Ace is definitely a system to watch and this week's System of the Week winner.

A quick note to our members who took part in the competition to find the Cox Plate winner…you will all get your chance again with the Derby.  Obviously with a maiden winner the race for the first time profiling approaches were not going to work.  Hopefully with the Derby we can replicate some of the success we found with our Caulfield Cup systems.
